Home at last

Finally  I am on board!! i guess my reflection starts with the realisation  how taxing technology can be . I had difficulty in joining the group throughout  the A and D stages of  "addie". Now3 I  join at the last D ! Reading the posting by LK on Thursday I realise that implenting an e-learning programme one needs to be knowledgeable of the various "e" communications available! This clearly exposes my computer literacy. I am determined to catch up ............very late BUT it can be done. Any suggestions? We are in the process of encouraging e-learning in the College and this journey is putting me in a good position to push forward this exercise. I am on board and certainly will get there

    1. Many thanks for the encouragement. Being last on board makes it somewhat easy for me !! Not sure yet what I hope to work on. Keep it simple for sure that has been my approach,I planning to work on using the WhatsApp for my teaching!! In my search for use of WhatsApp I came acroos a verfy interesting page on technnology in education:International Conference on Advanced Information and Communication Technology for Education (ICAICTE 2013). There are some very interesting artcles that has made my life a lot easier.

  2. I agree with Taka. Keep it simple. Rather get your walking right before you try to run. Chose something simple that the students will buy into easily. It seems as if Lianne needs to run a course for apps for dummies as I too could certainly benefit!
    Good luck!
